Hi Scott,

All of our Gili’s have held up really well over the last couple of seasons Given her size, the Komodo would be a good choice, especially if she wants a little extra stability.

In turn she has the bug now. I am 6’2″ and 180 lbs and the Meno seems to work fine for me. I like to go for a few miles. I do triathlon – so knowing me – I will want to push the distance longer over time. My wife is 5’2″ and 145 lbs and she seems to operate fine on the Meno. She struggles a bit getting on to reach the other edge of it, but probably because she was wearing a ski-style life jacket. Debating on another Meno for consistency. Since Gili is newer – how have you witnessed them holding up over time? Ours will be primarily freshwater with an occasional trip to Florida. I was debating the Komodo for her. I do like the carbon rail idea and wheels on the bag. What would you recommend? It doesn’t have to be a Gili for her. But the same family is nice.
